The department of Electrical Engineering in Shambhunath Institute of Engineering and Technology started its journey in 2004 with the vision to provide high quality technical education to the students to serve the humanity in general and nation in particular.
Our department offers B. Tech course in Electrical Engineering which is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Our department have well qualified and highly experienced faculty members and technical staff with excellent academic credentials and teaching skills. Our faculties have published many research papers in national and international journals and conferences. The department organizes seminars, expert lectures and industrial training programs on regular basis for the faculties and students to enhance their learning skills and knowledge.
The department has very good infrastructure facilities and all the laboratories of the department are very well equipped with conventional as well as modern equipment’s and software’s to fulfill the curriculum needs. The Department has highest placement records and also secures 100% result in the university. Renowned companies like Tata Motors, TCS, Wipro, Jindal, Varroc, Edge Telecom and many more often visit our department and many students are placed in these reputed companies with higher packages. The department feel delighted to share that our students have shown excellent science based engineering skills, while participating in project fest and got awarded at national level competition.
It is a matter of pride that many of our students are serving in defense sector for the security and well-being of our nation. Also many students have built successful career in academia and other renowned areas. Our department is continuously working hard in educating and training to the upcoming engineers of the society to solve the technical challenges for the welfare of human beings.
