A new Robotics Lab has been set up and inaugurated on 15th August, 2019 in the Department of Electronics and Communication, Shambhunath Institute of Engineering and Technology, Prayagraj.
The valedictory function started with the lamp lighting ceremony by the Dr. K. K. Tiwari, Secretary of Utthan, Dr. R.K. Singh, Director SGI, Dr. Vivek Singh, Head of the Department, ECE and eminent Professors of the Department. Dr. K. K. Tiwari inaugurated the lab by Ribbon cutting ceremony and opening the signage of “Robotics Lab”. He addressed the students on the need of this Robotics Lab; an initiative taken by the Department and the leadership. He shared his vision on creating sustainable ecosystems in which students are made to think, ‘play’ with the robots, be able to execute projects and enhance their entrepreneurial skills in embedded systems and Robotics.
He also appreciated the faculty, associated staff and students from robotics team for achieving grand success while conquering all the challenges in a stipulated time frame.
The formation of robotics lab encourages hands-on projects through “Project Based Learning methodology” and to help students in implementing applications on the robot in a step-by-step manner, guiding them through the various steps in the project implementation life cycle.
The inaugural function concluded on a very enthusiastic note and brought cheers to the team.
